'This Little Piggy' Animation blog up-date 16/12/15

There is a total of 4 Sets

So far there is a total of 9 different piggy models taking around 5 to 6 sessions to make all of them

Some of my set design is made from plasticine

So far i have finish around half of my filming production starting on scene 5 out of 8 and will be put the clips together on Adobe Premier Pro with the 'This little Piggy' sound tack over the top. I've encountered a few problems which i hadn't realized before in my production. When my plasticine piggy figures were on set the lamp i used to light up the scene quickly softened the plasticine fugues. This made it very difficult to position them becoming very mess and some of the little props like the piggy's basket started to fall apart very quickly constantly trying to repair it made it a very difficult task. One way i tackled this problem was by turning the lamp off when i wasn't shooting and taking regular breaks for the plasticine to cool down slightly making it a lot more easy for me to model them.

Other problems like the lighting is affecting the quality of my clips. For some reason the lighting rapidly changes looking like a strobe effect in my pieces of film. i think this is due to the camera being on automatic changing the aperture due to the movement of my hands in front of the light. next time i will make sure my camera is on manual and isn't changing the setting automatically. Hopefully i will be able to resolve this by editing the clips on Premier changing the contrast of the image.
